Friends of Walton Hall Park
The friends group was started in early 2014, it was formed by a group of people who lived around the park that wanted to make a difference to their park. The park had been in decline for many years so we wanted to do it for us by us!
We now work alongside many organisations including Liverpool city council, Mersey forest, National Lottery and many more. We also work with local schools and organisations. We are a grant funded organisation but also raise funds for the work we do in the park from the events we run throughout the year.
The park is brimming with wildlife and home to thousands of different species all of which we vow to protect and enhance there home. The park is now much improved and the group has added many community assets to the park. Please see our community garden page…
